PSNWA members build a piano prop
June 14 2010
|
|
Never underestimate how far PSNWA members will go for a picture. During the PSNWA model session on Thursday June 10th, PSNWA members photographed a glamour/goth setting using a well worn piano. Members Patrick Ward, David Stowers, Michael Davis, and John Baltz had picked up the piano and moved it to the PSNWA facility a few weeks earlier, lifting the heavy piano first into a pickup truck and then up onto the loading dock at PSNWA. This was only the beginning of the work as several days later they returned to remove all unnecessary weight and dissemble the piano so that it could be moved into place for the photo session.
You can see images from the session as well as a gallery of images from the demolition of the piano by following the link below.

Diana Michelle, PSNWA member and journalism student at the University of Arkansas, will exhibit her art, “The Artist,” in the Anne Kittrell Art Gallery in the Union from Monday, March 29 to Friday, April 23. She saw an interesting bike fence and left a note for the owner, which happened to be West. West wrote her a letter saying if she honked 3 times, he would come out from the woods. Since then, Michelle has been documenting the man, his way of life, and his art.
