Photoshop Intro & Basics Class Instructor: Lee Bruegger
This is a class for those wishing to “get started” with Adobe PhotoShop or just enhance basic skills. The course is intended for any one wishing to use PhotoShop to improve their digital images either directly from a digital camera or scanned I image. Learn the initial vital steps of properly setting up a PhotoShop workspace. The course has an emphasis on proper tool selection and understanding the various options available for use in the PhotoShop software.

Mar 24th Thurs. 7:00pm - 9:00pm Low-Key Techniques Class Instructor: Patrick Ward
The companion class to last falls High Key Photography Class, this class concentrates on the fundamentals of Low Key Studio Photography, including lighting, posing and exposure. Learn to create a unique visual statement and capture artistic images. Class is suitable for either Film or Digital cameras. Bring your camera to participate in the studio session. Cameras require a flash hot-shoe to connect to the studio lighting.

Apr 28th Thurs. 7:00pm - 9:00pm The Photographers Eye (Photographic Composition) Instructor: John Baltz
Preparation is often the most valuable part of creating a good picture. That preparation may take Days, Months, Years, or fraction of a second. The key is knowing what you are looking for, and the ability to visualize the finished image. This class examines the creative know-how in making memorable photographs. Learn details of exploiting vantage points, framing, composition, abstraction, and lighting to improved your pictures.

May 15th Sunday 9:00am - 6:00pm Annual PSNWA Fashion / Fine Art Photographic Symposium Looking for creative images for a portfolio or just enjoy taking pictures, the PSNWA Fashion / Fine Art photographic symposium is a great photographic opportunity. Rather you are a beginner or a professional photographer, this symposium enables you to photograph attractive models in both studio and natural settings. Located in the historic Eureka Springs Basin Park Hotel, Sunday May 15th, 9:00am - 6:00pm.

May 26th Thurs. 7:00pm - 9:00pm & May 28th Sat. 9:00am Macro Photography Techniques Class Instructor: Richard Murie
Capture the beauty of nature through the lens of a camera. The course provides the opportunity to develop the skills needed to successfully take macro pictures in a garden setting. Students will participate in a two part class first an evening class concentrating on learning the skills and concepts of macro photography. Then on Saturday, weather permitting, using these skills to photograph flowers and market settings around the Fayetteville square.

Framing & Matting Photographs Instructor: Randy Odglen
Learn how to choose mats and frames, as well as make composition choices between full frame vs. cropped images to best showcase your photographs. Workshop includes demonstration of professional quality framing and matting that you can learn to do yourself.

Designing your own Photographic Website Instructor: John Baltz
Discover how to give your eye catching photographs world wide exposure thru the World Wide Web. Topics will include HTML vs. Flash, various editors, how to find a cost effective server service, registering your domain name, and FTP and file management along with other practical instruction.
