Photographic Society of
Board of Directors meeting
The following minutes have been recorded and approved as accurately representing the ideas, leadership, and dictation of governing rules as set forth by the Board of Directors for the Photographic Society of Northwest Arkansas.
1) Meeting called to order by
Executive Chair Patrick Ward.
a) Attendance included: Mark Abram, John Baltz, Catherine Baltz, E.
Rick Cash, Michelle Ironside, Nakole Neumeier, and Lucy Overstreet.
2) Rick Cash spoke of possible
sponsorship of exhibits around town including Perk’s
coffee house on
3) Patrick Ward spoke of the
land lords non-willingness
to provide a rental area at the price originally agreed upon in
verbal negotiations. The Board by
unanimous consent decided not to pursue rental of property in Evelyn Hills shopping center and to again look else where
for facility rental.
4) John Baltz presented a
motion to refund the $199.00 dues collected for fall dues. The refund was justified since the board was
unable to secure a Facility. Spring dues
will be decided in the December meeting and board members are requested to
research an appropriate dues based on Society benefits with out a Facility. The measure passed unanimously.
5) A meeting was set to help
Lucy Overstreet with the creation of the Fall Society Bulliten.
6) Meeting was called to close by Patrick Ward.
