Photographic Society of Northwest Arkansas

Board of Directors meeting August 14th 2002

The following minutes have been recorded and approved as accurately representing the ideas, leadership, and dictation of governing rules as set forth by the Board of Directors for the Photographic Society of Northwest Arkansas.

1) Meeting called to order by Executive Chair Patrick Ward.

a) Attendance included: Mark Abram, John Baltz, Catherine Baltz, E. Rick Cash, Jason Hudson, Lena Hudson, John Hamilton, Sarah Hamilton, and Nakole Neumeier.

2) By-Laws were edited and finalized. Rick Cash proposed ratification of the By-Laws, Mark Abram seconded the motion. The By-Laws were passed by unanimous vote.

3) Rick Cash propsed a motion to approve the dues for the year in preparation of the print of membership pamphlets. Mark Abram seconded the motion and the dues passed by unanimous vote. $199.00 single membership, and $299.00 joint membership.

4) Nakole Neumeier spoke on the Fall schedule and asked for any last minute volunteers for teaching classes or sponsoring tours.

5) Patrick Ward asked Rick Cash to research the possibility of sponsorship by local business for member discounts or gifts.

6) Meeting was called to close by Patrick Ward.
