Photographic Society of Northwest Arkansas

Board of Directors meeting September 26th 2002

The following minutes have been recorded and approved as accurately representing the ideas, leadership, and dictation of governing rules as set forth by the Board of Directors for the Photographic Society of Northwest Arkansas.

1) Meeting called to order by Executive Chair Patrick Ward.

a) Attendance included: Mark Abram, John Baltz, Catherine Baltz, E. Rick Cash, John Hamilton, Sarah Hamilton, and Nakole Neumeier.

2) A motion was posed and ratified to appoint Michelle Ironside to the chair of membership, and Lucy Overstreet to the chair of publications after the notification that John Hamilton, and Sarah Hamilton will be stepping down from their board positions due to plans to leave the Northwest Arkansas region.

3) Patrick Ward told board members that the area on the corner of Township and College that had been sought for Society Facility had been rented by the Land Lord and was no-longer available. Patrick Ward will do a search of area rental properties.

4) John Baltz spoke about membership pamphlets have been distributed to Bedford Camera and Video, and Colliers Photo. Bedfords expressed interest in the sponsoring of future events.

5) The board discussed the new PSNWA web site, and its use in the future.

6) Meeting was called to close by Patrick Ward.
