Photographic Society of
Board of Directors meeting
The following minutes have been recorded and approved as accurately representing the ideas, leadership, and dictation of governing rules as set forth by the Board of Directors for the Photographic Society of Northwest Arkansas.
1) Meeting called to order by
Executive Chair Patrick Ward.
a) Attendance included: Mark Abram, John Baltz, Catherine Baltz, E.
Rick Cash, Nakole Neumeier,
and Lucy Overstreet.
2) Brief discussion concerning
the teaching of classes at the Nadine Baum Studios. Laura Goodwind at
NBC has requested PSNWA teach class for the center. Discussed were the desires
of the PSNWA board for the ability of PSNWA members to take the courses at
discount, and the use of the NBC facility for studio classes and general
darkroom times.
3) John Baltz reported that a
Bank Account in the name of PSNWA was established at the Bank of Fayetteville.
4) In accordance with the
requirements of the non-profit organization bank account with the Bank of
Fayetteville, John Baltz has filed with the Federal Government for the issuing
of an employee number for PSNWA.
5) Patrick Ward spoke about his
desire to take a group of PSNWA members with him to photograph the Ozark
Challenge race on April 11th – 13th.
6) Mark Abram reported on the
current competition, and the need of exhibit pictures
for Common Grounds and other sponsors.
7) Meeting was called to close by Patrick Ward.
