Oversaturated in the Midtones consists of years of work made by Jeremy TenHaken in Cuba

Walking outdoors in Havana is like walking onto a movie set. The people, the colonial architecture, the horse-drawn wagons; all have a shimmering clarity and palette of vibrant colors any director would covet. Of course, the sights, sounds and smells of a bustling city assault the senses a moment later. I love the culture of Cuba. As is true anywhere, the countryside operates at a slower pace.

In my work I hope to transport the viewer to Cuba through the rich and vivid colors that pour out of this beautiful country.

The exhibtion reception is on February 11 from 6-8pm at the PSNWA Gallery and Studios located at 126 W. Emma Ave. in Springdale. Drinks and light refreshments will be served.
