Twelfth Annual Fall Fair Photographic Competition

The twelfth annual Photographic Society of Northwest Arkansas sponsored Fall Fair Photographic Competition (FFPC). Members compete for one of fourteen places displayed in PSNWA’s large custom exhibit at both the Benton & Washington county fairs, as well as various locations around Northwest Arkansas.

This is an open subject competition, without categories, but subjects should be deemed acceptable for public display for all ages. All entries must be received by Aug 1, 2014. You can enter up to three images. The top fourteen images from individual PSNWA members will be displayed framed in an 8×10 mat.

Photos will be judged on Impact, Subject Matter / Creativity, Composition, Technical Quality, and Print Presentation. Black and White and Color photographs, from Film or Digital will be accepted. Up to 3 prints can be submitted in an 8 x 10 and with optional borders not to exceed a maximum of quarter inch. Prints may be turned in at Bedford Camera & Video or in person at PSNWA meetings by Aug 1, 2014. Include Name, email, phone, and category on the back lower right corner of each print.

Please, ensure you have a duplicate print or negative, photographs will not be returned. PSNWA nor Bedford’s Camera and Video will be responsible for damaged or misplaced photographs. Images may be displayed at participating Business sponsors around Northwest Arkansas post competition. Competition is open only to PSNWA members. Images are judged on five key elements; Impact , Composition, Creativity, Print Presentation and Technical Quality. Submissions are ranked by a panel of judges chaired by Susan Boyd, PSNWA Competition / Exhibit Chairman. Only one image per member is eligiable for display. All panel decisions are final.
