Using a Light Meter

Using the studio light meter is the first step in setting up your studio lighting. It is common to setup the lights so that your overall exposure is around f8 at 1/125 sec with a ISO of 100. But how do know how bright your left light is compared to your right light? Knowing how to use a light meter properly with studio lights is essential. Once you have your light in at an exposure you like you can fine tune your camera setting with the Photovision Digital Target.

The following is provided to assist with learning to meter in the studio.
