Print Competition – Black and White
- November 3, 2016 - February 7, 2017
The way we capture and produce Black and White images have changed over time, but it is still a substantial part of photographic art. It allows us to look at light and form in such a different way when void of color. Black and white images are not usually starkly contrasted. They combine black and white in a continuum producing a range of shades of gray. Gray tones often become an important part of a good Black and White image when not capturing color.
This competition includes all forms of black-and-white photography which produces images containing tones of grey ranging from black to white, regardless of subject. Images entered in the competition should meet this criteria for a Black and White image as well as having no sepia or color tent to the finished photograph.
DEADLINE: Deadline to enter is by the Feb 7, 2017 General Meeting.
