Painting with Light
This presentation will cover Johnny’s experience with capturing handheld light in motion, creating unique one of kind art pieces through the lens and imagination of the artist. We will explore where Kinetic Photography ends and the art of Light Painting begins.
Photographer: Johnny Griffin
Sport and Adventure Photographer for 40+ years, Johnny picked up Light Painting in 2008 as a means to add a motion effect in athlete's still portraits. Once introduced to the art form, he got hooked on how to manage and manipulate the light sources. This evolved into a passion for controlling light through forming light blades and other devices that has since gained him global recognition as the "Light Painting Tool Wizard"
