You may have seen something similar to the following line in the details of a PSNWA competition or call for images;
‘Images may be displayed at participating business sponsors around Northwest Arkansas post competition and published online or in print by PSNWA.’
What does that mean?
First, take a deep breath and relax… PSNWA is not taking ownership of your pictures. We are simply proud to show off images from fellow PSNWA members! Competition images are usually printed for display and exhibits at various locations around the region. Announcements and congratulatory posting are often made highlighting competitions and events on various websites. A picture you took may be also featured in a brochure about PSNWA, or possibly even in a PSNWA publication. Entering a competition or providing an image to PSNWA means you agree to the PSNWA Promotion Policy and the use of your images in print or digital format by PSNWA to display your work.
