How to Find Any Photo in 15 Seconds Using Lightroom with Jeremy TenHaken
If you use Photoshop CC, you are already paying for LightRoom CC. Why not put it to work?
LightRoom’s abilities to organize are (almost) infinite. 5 different star ratings x 5 color ratings x 3 flag status = 75 categories….and that’s just a bare beginning.
Learn how to prioritize which photos to work on and how to store outtakes where you could find them (if needed), without ever seeing or sorting through them again. Learn how to use collections to categorize by subject or date without the need for multiple copies or extra folders.
The class will be held at Whole Hog Cafe in Fiesta Square in Fayetteville.
As a child, Jeremy TenHaken found much solace in nature. The elegant and intricate designs in the plant and mineral worlds fascinated him. He was captivated by the ever-changing sky, the fanciful shapes of clouds, and the colors of sunrise and sunset. Growing up on the western shore of Lake Michigan, he marveled at the power of the storms, the serenity of an occasional unbroken calm surface and the rock beaches with rounded stones brought south by the last ice age.
In his career, Jeremy specialized in remediation of problem in people’s homes. Situations which could not be easily repaired required him to think outside the box, well before the phrase was coined.
After years of studying both digital photography and current post production techniques, he has been led to create bodies of work utilizing his keen sense of observation, informed by his unique view of his surroundings. He prefers to immerse himself in projects for long periods of time and compile a body of work which will guide the viewer into a new perspective of his subject.
Recent works include “Oversaturated in the Mid-Tones: a Glimpse of Cuba” and “Abandoned Art”, a study of automotive ornamentation abandoned outdoors and exposed to decades of neglect. He is currently working on “Tenacity: a Study of the Ancient Bristlecone Pines”, which will familiarize the viewer with these amazing 4,000-year-old trees. A new subject in mind, he is working to complete “Tenacity” before moving forward.
Recent venues for completed works include the PSNWA Gallery & Studio and the lobby of the Bank of Fayetteville.
