Join fellow PSNWA members observing some social distance photography and conversation on Mount Magazine between 7:00 p.m and 9:00 p.m. Sunset is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. with the golden hour beginning at 7:26 p.m. and blue hour at 8:17 p.m. and nautical twilight at 8:28pm.
We will be meeting at the West edge of the parking lot at the Lodge at Mount Magazine. From there we will decide how to proceed to the various locations to photograph the sunset as in many areas it is limited to how many can park at them.
After sunset you may wish to hang around a few more hours for as the Galactic Center of the Milky Way is scheduled to rise at 11:49pm.
Come join fellow PSNWA members for an afternoon and evening at the Arkansas Hot Air Ballon State Championships in Harrison, AR. Lots of events will be going on that day starting in the morning through the evenings hours. Plan to come over and be there around 3:30 p.m. There will be a Balloon Glow between 4-5 p.m.. This glow will be daytime shots and you will not capture much of the actual glow. But will be a good time to figure out where we will want to be for the evening glow. About 6:30 p.m. we will gather and go over a few techniques and then head to setup for the evening glow between 7-8 p.m. Sunset is at 7:48 p.m. this evening so depending on the weather we can hopefully get some neat shots.
