The Photographic Society of Northwest Arkansas will hold an artist’s reception on March 3 from 6-8 p.m. at the PSNWA Gallery and Studios, 207 NE 2nd Street in Bentonville. The reception will feature the work of local photographer Scott Brown of Dream Wolf Photography.
Brown specializes in nature and portrait photography, both locally and nationally. Brown has been featured in the Bentonville CVB and has conducted portrait shoots in Northwest Arkansas and nature shoots in Yellowstone and Mesa Verde national parks.

Coming up this week at PSNWA is the gallery reception for “North by Southwest” a collaboration between photographers Chuck Davis and Cleeo Wright accompanied by poet Keli Wright. North by Southwest is a collection of photographs taken while upon the open road to Bisti – a wildness in NW New Mexico this past year. Chuck Davis’ photograph “Cadillac Ranch” has been juried and selected to be part of the Kansas City Society for Contemporary Photography annual members’ exhibit; Current Works 2016.
The reception takes place from 6-8 p.m. Friday November 4th at the new PSNWA Gallery & Studios, 207 N.E. 2nd St. in Bentonville. Just off the square in the same building a Tricycle Theater.

We all know about the Summer heat in the Ozarks and there are many ways to Beat the Heat other than just staying indoors. Is it at the local lake or river or maybe by the water sprinkler. PSNWA were challenged to find and photograph images that best shown the theme ‘Beat the Heat.’
