Join fellow photographers on Wednesday, January 31 to photograph the Lunar eclipse. The beginning of a partial shadow begins around 5:00 am., partial eclipse (reddening of the moon) will begin around 5:50 am and full eclipse begins right at twilight (6:51 am) and when the moon is only at around 5 degrees from setting. That puts it right on the western horizon which means you need to be high up to shoot along the hill tops as the eclipsing moon sets.
This timing also means it can be photographed by many before heading to work.
Mt. Sequoyah Conference Center will allow us to use the Cross Overlook in Fayetteville, including use of the parking at the main conference center lot. They have asked in return if some of us could share a few images with them for their social media and gallery.
Please join the Fashion/Glamor group for an event you won’t want to miss! We will be photographing the theatrical facial expressions of some awesome kids from Faces Inc.
The Fashion/Glamour group is hosting a four elements themed makeup photoshoot at the PSNWA studio. Models will have makeup done to emulate the elements earth, fire, water, and air. Please join us for this exciting event!

Come and volunteer to be a greeter, hair and make-up artist, editor or photographer. We plan to have up to 40 family portrait sittings during the day. Your help is needed!
Come out and enjoy the Holiday lights on the downtown square in Fayetteville. We will meet in front of the Bank of Fayetteville at 7 PM for a quick discussion of photo tips for photographing holiday lights. Bright lights and dark surroundings make for challenging conditions to get good exposures. We’ll discuss some starting points for proper exposures, and tips for hopefully improving your holiday photos. You will then be free to wander and take photos for as long as you like, ask questions, seek input from others in the group so you can get the shots you desire.
